Do you wanna dance??

¡¡¡Salsa!!!

These pictures are all from different nights... it's kind of a mixture of different times and groups, but these are several of the people that have made my time here in Spain absolutely unforgettable. I thank God for friends like these!!

This is Inma (from Spain), Fatima (Oregon, woohoo!), Swathi, and Geethu (U.S.)

Swathi and Narjis (Morocco)

Aww... great friends!! =)

Jake (U.S.), Abraham (Spain), and Narjis!

Jake is famous for dipping us girls backwards (sometimes without warning). It's fun, but it sure takes a lot of trust!

More pictures! (bullfight, flamenco, Córdoba, CC-CS...)

Here are some pictures from the bullfight I went to in the Plaza de Toros.

Flamenco!! (sorry, I think these captions are not going to match the pictures, but hopefully you can figure out what caption goes to what! I'm still figuring out this blog thing).

Here's a picture of mi cuarto (my room)

These next few pics are of a trip I took months ago with CC-CS to Córdoba, a city in Andalucia. Some of these were taken inside the mezquita (mosque). The garden pictures are from the BEAUTIFUL palace gardens (in the old alcazar, or palace) that we got to visit.

Me and my good friend, Katie in Córdoba!

These next couple are more pics of the beautiful Rio Guadalquivir on my walk to school just as the sun was rising.

CC-CS! This is where I go to school!

Hey y'all! I'm finally putting pictures up!!! Yay!!! Sorry it's taken me so long.
These pictures go WAY back...
These are all pictures from Italica, the ruins of the old Roman city close to Sevilla

It was pretty amazing to walk through this area (passageways under the seating in the amphitheater)

Here's the amphitheater. This underground section was where they would set animals loose. It was covered up with boards for the gladiator fights.

The picture on the right is a picture of the amphitheater from a view of the stands.

This is a Mosaic that the Romans used for the floors of their houses. They are so detailed and so neat to look at! I was impressed.

This is a view of the beautiful river at night, along with the Torre de Oro. Sevilla is a lovely place! Que linda!

These are both views from La Giralda, the tower connected to the Cathedral here in Sevilla. This Cathedral is the largest Gothic cathedral and 3rd largest cathedral in general in the world! I loved the view from the Giralda! I could see all of Sevilla!

This is a picture from inside the Cathedral. It has my favorite stained glass window in the background, along with a view of the section where the choir sings.

And here is the magnificent Giralda! It was originally used by the Muslim Moors to call everyone to prayer, back when they ruled Sevilla and most of Spain (until Ferdinand and Isabella conquered Spain). Since then, it was converted into part of the Catholic cathedral.

This is a view of a street outside of the Cathedral. Here's one of the typical carriage rides tourists can take. I have yet to take one and am still deciding if it's worth the money, since I already have probably been to most of the places they take you too. =)

This is the Puente (bridge) de San Telmo, one of the bridges I can take to and from school everyday. I love the view of the city and the river from this bridge!

This last pic is of one of the rooms in CC-CS, where I study. It's kind of the main lounge area that everyone walks through, so it's fun to sit there and read sometimes, eat and chat with friends, and say hi to everyone that walks through.
